SOV – Adult Discipleship – Winter 2015

Good & Evil by Douglas ConnellyOn January 11th, the Adult Discipleship Class will begin a study based on the book Good & Evil by Douglas Connelly.

Though we are often hurt, shocked and angered by the evil in our world, it doesn’t catch God off-guard. He cares about our suffering, he’s with us in the midst of our tragedies and sin, and he can even bring good out of the worst circumstances. God doesn’t give us all the answers about why we suffer, but these eight studies by Douglas Connelly will help us trust him and his power more, even in the midst of our pain.

This 8-week study will cover topics such as Understanding the Human Condition, Dealing with Disaster, Disability and the Goodness of God, Struggling with Sickness, Our Enemy in the World, The Enemy Within, Overcoming Death’s Grip, and Finding Hope in a Terrorized World.

Please join us. Come as you can. Adult Discipleship meets Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M. If you have any questions, contact Kate Aragon (
